Cause and Effect
Bosnia- Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Slovenia all became part of the Republic of Yugoslavia. Bosniaks wanted Bosnia to spread apart from the republic of Yugoslavia, while the serbs wanted to be apart of Serbia. Serbia later on declared war on Bosnia for what they called “ethnic cleansing” in 1992. By 1995 the war ended and Bosnia only had 3 towns left. Serbians conquered the Bosnians by killing the, sending them to concentration camps, and either raping them. Karadzic, Bosnian politician, goes on trial and has been charged with murder and committing crimes. President Slobodan also goes on trail from genocide and murder. Many people died and the Bosnians were scared of if they lost their loved ones or not. The Bosnians Serbs won the war in the end.
